Biryani Love

The Red Box is one of the eat outs which is trending in recent times. It is a Chinese takeaway hut. The food is served in a red color oyster pail box. There is a variety of rice and noodles like chicken, prawn, and vegetarian. You also get a gravy along with your rice or noodles.  The wait time for my food to arrive was very minimal and the food is freshly cooked and packed. I ordered the hot garlic chicken fried rice which cost Rs.150. The food was delicious and the quantity is enough to feed one extremely hungry person. This is a very pocket-friendly eat out which is ideal for college students. 

For a person like me, it's hard to eat vegetarian when I dine out. But one of my favorite vegetarian restaurants is Cream Centre. They serve the best vegetarian food in the city. Cream Centre is a vegetarian's paradise. It is extremely crowded every day. The serve authentic continental food and whatever you order is here is extremely cheesy. The nachos with cheese sauce is the show stealer. Its that authentic nacho chips with gooey cheesy sauce and beans. The sizzlers are also very good with the right heat and sizzle. For dessert, I ordered sizzling brownie and I would say that Cream Centre serves the best  sizzling brownie in the city

Milkshakes are one of my all-time favorite desserts. The combination of milk and ice-cream makes my mouth water all the time. The Thick Shake Factory is one of the best places to get the city's yummiest thick shakes. I am a chocoholic and anything chocolaty will satisfy me. The Thick Shake Factory has a widespread menu and there is a separate section for the chocolate variant milkshakes. The Thick Shake Factory serves two types of milkshakes, milkshake, and the thick shake. Milkshake is the usual milkshake which we generally drink, but the thick shakes are extremely thick and the toppings are doubled in this variant. You can also make your own milkshake or thick shake by customizing your order with a wide range of toppings and flavors. I customized my thick shake. I choose my base flavor to be chocolate and to it, I blended in blended in brownies, hazelnuts, waffle, and kit-kat. Sizzlers are one of the fanciest food which I love to eat whenever I dine in a continental restaurant. I was in the mall yesterday and I went to the food-court to grab a snack. There was a food joint named Wow Momo and I wanted to try out that place. When I scanned through the menu I saw this section which had sizzler momos and I was very curious to try one. The sizzler looked very appetizing when I got it. You get it in mushroom, chicken and prawn variants with rice or noodles. The rice or noodles are vegetarian and the variant differs in the momos. The portion is big enough to feed 2 people and the taste is awesome. You get six momos in total out of which three are steamed momos and the other three are pan-fried momos.  I really enjoyed my meal from Wow Momos and it satisfied my food craving for that day.

If you are a foodie, you surely would have heard of the kulfi Nagraj in Marina beach. Mr.Nagraj is a middle-aged man who sells kulfi in Marina beach and he starts his business at 10.30pm every night. This is one of the popular street food places which is trending in recent days. Nagraj has a huge aluminium pot covered with a red cloth and ice in which he keeps the kulfi and he brings it on a tri-cycle like all the kulfiwalas. His cart is extremely crowded till all the kulfis are sold out. There are two sizes, small and big and the prices are Rs.20 and Rs.30 respectively. The kulfi is extremely creamy which is fully made of malai and dry fruits. If you are lucky enough you get to taste a chunk of chocolate in your kulfi. Do try this yummy kulfi from Mr.Nagraj and delight your tastebuds.

Biryani is every nonvegetarian's delight. It is the best sort of food which you can serve for your guests at home when you have a get-together. We recently had a function hosted in our house, where we invited about fifty guests. It was not a very grand function though, in fact, it was a mourning ceremony for my grandfather who passed away recently. we did not have plans of keeping a very exorbitant spread and variety of food and we did not want to spend a bomb on food either. So we decided to order biryani form one of the 'Bhais' who resides near my school. His business is preparing and supplying biryani as per the requirements of individuals. When in school, during that boring and sleepy economics lectures, the smell of the biryani from Bhai's house was our lifesaver and we diverted our thoughts from the boring lecture to the wonderful smell of biryani.
